Why do gigs suck?
19 November 2018 • gigs, gracie actually has opinions, music, opinion
I
don’t see a whole lot of live music. I mean, obviously I see and review musical shows quite often, but I reckon I
could count the amount of gigs I go to on one hand –
ermm, plus a couple of fingers!?
This
is mostly because there are only a select few artists or bands I’d
want to travel into the city and pay dolla to see, but also because,
well… gigs can suck.
Briefs: Close Encounters - a review.
14 November 2018 • Briefs, Briefs Close Encounters, burlesque, drag, gracie gets dramatic, Spiegeltent, theatre review
I
was lucky enough to see Briefs:
Close Encounters live in London’s Leicester Square
Spiegeltent last Sunday 11th of
November.
Basically,
I read the words ‘drag’ and ‘burlesque’ and I was 100% in.
I just eat plants now.
6 November 2018 • grace is vegan, vegan, veganism, vegetarian
At the beginning of this year, I finally went ‘full vegan’. After an actual lifetime of being vegetarian (no, that doesn’t mean I ate fish)
and 2 years dairy free, I finally took the plunge and gave up what
little animal products remained in my diet in order to transform into
a 100% all-green plant-based 'Vg' Human. (Like the Hulk, but a bit nicer.)

2 November 2018 • bookish, Charly Cox, Giant Days, non pratt, Sarah Ford, She Must Be Mad
I
have read a mad mix of books, lately. I am definitely still loving
not having to stick to a schedule this year – I’m just trying to
not buckle under the pressure of proofs, now! But I must ask you
readers… should I employ a loose reading routine next year? Maybe a
gentle one, like ‘one non-fic per month’ or something? If you
have any ideas, send ‘em my way via Twitter or in the comments
below, pretty please.
Right,
let’s get into this…
