Another short post. People nowadays can't bear to sit down and read anything longer than one scroll of the page. It's a shame...

Tonight was a night of plan-making. My early Valentine's Day date and sleepover, my day tomorrow, and a particularly magical day in the near future. *happy sigh*

I've been thinking recently how I seem to have certain friends that I talk to about certain things... There are some friends I wouldn't dare discuss intimate things with, and others I will happily gossip and swap intimate stories with. For example, my very best friend and I have only just started talking to each other about sex - but with one of my friends from college, who I've only known since September, I can talk to about VERY dirty things with absolute ease.

I don't know if anyone else has the same kinds of friendships... Let me know maybe :)

Still saving for that dress, and I am VERY happy that the (wonderful) boyfriend is ordering a Fitch shirt sometime soon. I will be following him around for days and days after it arrives, sniffing him like crazy. A&F clothes have a beautiful smell. So do Hollister ones. Yum. Or maybe I could just take his shirt - that way I'd have the view of his chest, AND the cuddly A&F smell. Win-Win for Moi :)

Okay, signing off for now.
Much love,

I'll keep you.

I have been in love with this song ever since my friend and I listened to it while lying on the grass in the Boboli Gardens in beautiful Italy...

And the video is amazing! It features postcard secrets from the brilliant social experiment webiste PostSecret. :)
Do yourself a favour and watch this video. Or even better, go on the PostSecret website. Reading the secrets makes you feel much more human; it's unbelievable how many I can relate to.

What would you think of me now? So lucky, so strong, so proud.

Since I made those New Year's resolutions, I've possibly doubled my intake of sinful chocolate goodies. Oh well.

I have now made pacts with two friends to cut out "all the bad stuff". And my summer holiday is now booked - we're going to California! If there was ever a better motive for slimming down, I'd like to hear it. So, fingers crossed it'll work :)
One of the few things I remember from school assemblies over the years is the Deputy Headteacher saying "it's never too late to make New Year's Resolutions". It's so true.
Sociology exam tomorrow. Oh, the joys. I should be okay though, not because I've been revising religiously and ignoring ALL other work, but because the boyfriend just told me "you'll ace it. You're the most sociable person I know!".
Ahhh, the boyfriend. We had a chat about Valentine's Day plans yesterday (which must happen, because we haven't even made it to the cinema so far despite many attempts) - maybe going out for dinner. Grown up much! The restaurant he suggested is pretty damn posh, and when I pointed this out he simply said "fuck it. It's only once a year!" :) God I love that boy.

I've been having crazy giggling fits non-stop for the past few days. I have no idea why, but it's been amazing :)
I'll leave you all with a little anecdote about my day - let me know whether or not you found this hysterical, because I was in hysterics.
My friend and I were writing a fairytale story in French about Taylor Swift and how she became famous... He's a terrible speller and I shouted at him at one point for "not capitalising Taylor Swift". He then said "Yeah, but Taylor Lautner has!".
Stay Tuned.

PS: I have a friend who insists I look like Taylor Swift. Especially my eyes. So I've attached a photo; let me know what you think ;)

New beginnings, same old.

It sounds majorly cliché BUT I'm going to make sure that this year, darling 2010, is my best yet. 2009 is the one to beat; by far the best year of my short but lovely life.

This year not only means the usual stuff (attempts at shrinking my waist & fixing my hair) but also seeing more of the friends I've drifted away from and working out what to do with my life.

I'm also going to take a leaf out of Ugly Betty's book - "no romantic entanglements".
Let's see how long that lasts ;)

Stay Tuned.
