I'll fall on my knees.

Waterloo station, excessive noise and shoving, lights everywhere and in search of food.
- Phone call -
"I'm so so sorry for being such a horrible person to you these last few months. I don't hate you. I promise. I could never hate you Gracie. We'll work this out, okay?"

Good things come to those who wait.
This last year wasn't wasted.
Thank you. ♥

I have news...

Everyone stop what they're doing!!

Joshua Radin has a brand new album coming out on October 12th 2010, called 'The Rock and the Tide'. Just when I thought this year couldn't get any better! :)

I found some info, and it sounds great even though it's written really pretentiously...

I'm back! (not that anyone missed me).

I've just read a few of my boyfriend's blog entries, and they're gorgeous. I've got myself a keeper there! In fact, I've managed to keep him for about 351 days...! :)

I've just had a day of subject reviews at college - they were all good, except one. The last one. Typical. I'm trying to focus on my first review for Drama, when my lovely teacher said things like "you're one of the few people I teach who can actually ACT," and "you're going to kick some arse next year!" What a babe she is.

The best wordless compliment you can ever have is a guy walking past you, giving you a massive smile, then turning back to look at you as he walks away...

Driving lesson on Saturday!

I'm growing up. That's all. x

I'm off...

San Francisco, Yosemite, Monterey, LA, Las Vegas!

I need to get more excited. Now. I never get excited until the morning, when I wake up at 3ish and shower and run out the door with my squishy pillow and massive suitcase... x

PS: I recently bought a proper book-like diary. For my 17th year. x

I think my head's on fire.

On Sunday I finally used my special hair-dyeing henna from LUSH. I bought the 'Caca Rouge' one, which is meant to dye hair a beautiful rich red. RED.

30 minutes insanely difficult application, 4 hours in the hair, 20 minutes trying to rinse it out (it was like having a really thick curry in my hair!) and viola...

I love him more than you!

The Joshua Radin gig I have been building up to for some time now was last night...

Wowwwww. It was so amazing! We were right at the front, and there was a stage light shining right in my face throughout which meant lovely Joshua saw me in my multi-coloured clothes and smiled at me several times!
One thing that I found particularly incredible was that he seemed really surprised to look out into the huge crowd and see pretty much everyone singing along to his songs. I'm pretty damn certain that I was the only one singing along to every single one though ♥

The best £12 I ever spent. Can I go again please?

Videos can be found on my YouTube Channel. :)

I write my own quotes.

I feel that since last September I've started a new chapter in my life.
And you know what?

I love this chapter more than the whole book.

I am French-Australian-English. Okay?

I just got back from one of the best holidays ever.

Je pense que les vacances avec mes amis sont les meilleures vacances jamais ... Parce que ma famille me gênent un peu, peut-être? Probablement. Ou parce qu'il ya une planification moins obsessionnel, et beaucoup rit plus.

Speaking French the entire time was exhausting; translating everything the family said to me in my head, formulating replies, saying them, translating their responses to my replies... ARGHH.
But my days out with the Francais Crew were the best. Rouen, Paris... Le Gros Horloge, le Tour d'Eiffel, l'Arc de Triomphe, les Champs Elysees... J'adore ♥

I'll be moving there one day. Paris for Gracie. I'll drag some friends along maybe, and we'll buy a 3-storey house together in Saint-Saëns by the clock tower and 'la mellieur boulangerie', with a psychadelic bathroom and kitchen cupboards full of traditional and delectable French pastries.
Quite a plan, eh? I make these all the time.
Au revoir mes belles,
Je t'aime.

I'd rather be with you.

Tuesday 13th April 2010.
Brighton. Concorde 2.

After years and years of loving his gorgeous lyrics and beautifully hushed voice, I am finally seeing him live. With the boy. Words cannot describe my excitement!

Another short post. People nowadays can't bear to sit down and read anything longer than one scroll of the page. It's a shame...

Tonight was a night of plan-making. My early Valentine's Day date and sleepover, my day tomorrow, and a particularly magical day in the near future. *happy sigh*

I've been thinking recently how I seem to have certain friends that I talk to about certain things... There are some friends I wouldn't dare discuss intimate things with, and others I will happily gossip and swap intimate stories with. For example, my very best friend and I have only just started talking to each other about sex - but with one of my friends from college, who I've only known since September, I can talk to about VERY dirty things with absolute ease.

I don't know if anyone else has the same kinds of friendships... Let me know maybe :)

Still saving for that dress, and I am VERY happy that the (wonderful) boyfriend is ordering a Fitch shirt sometime soon. I will be following him around for days and days after it arrives, sniffing him like crazy. A&F clothes have a beautiful smell. So do Hollister ones. Yum. Or maybe I could just take his shirt - that way I'd have the view of his chest, AND the cuddly A&F smell. Win-Win for Moi :)

Okay, signing off for now.
Much love,

I'll keep you.

I have been in love with this song ever since my friend and I listened to it while lying on the grass in the Boboli Gardens in beautiful Italy...

And the video is amazing! It features postcard secrets from the brilliant social experiment webiste PostSecret. :)
Do yourself a favour and watch this video. Or even better, go on the PostSecret website. Reading the secrets makes you feel much more human; it's unbelievable how many I can relate to.

What would you think of me now? So lucky, so strong, so proud.

Since I made those New Year's resolutions, I've possibly doubled my intake of sinful chocolate goodies. Oh well.

I have now made pacts with two friends to cut out "all the bad stuff". And my summer holiday is now booked - we're going to California! If there was ever a better motive for slimming down, I'd like to hear it. So, fingers crossed it'll work :)
One of the few things I remember from school assemblies over the years is the Deputy Headteacher saying "it's never too late to make New Year's Resolutions". It's so true.
Sociology exam tomorrow. Oh, the joys. I should be okay though, not because I've been revising religiously and ignoring ALL other work, but because the boyfriend just told me "you'll ace it. You're the most sociable person I know!".
Ahhh, the boyfriend. We had a chat about Valentine's Day plans yesterday (which must happen, because we haven't even made it to the cinema so far despite many attempts) - maybe going out for dinner. Grown up much! The restaurant he suggested is pretty damn posh, and when I pointed this out he simply said "fuck it. It's only once a year!" :) God I love that boy.

I've been having crazy giggling fits non-stop for the past few days. I have no idea why, but it's been amazing :)
I'll leave you all with a little anecdote about my day - let me know whether or not you found this hysterical, because I was in hysterics.
My friend and I were writing a fairytale story in French about Taylor Swift and how she became famous... He's a terrible speller and I shouted at him at one point for "not capitalising Taylor Swift". He then said "Yeah, but Taylor Lautner has!".
Stay Tuned.

PS: I have a friend who insists I look like Taylor Swift. Especially my eyes. So I've attached a photo; let me know what you think ;)

New beginnings, same old.

It sounds majorly cliché BUT I'm going to make sure that this year, darling 2010, is my best yet. 2009 is the one to beat; by far the best year of my short but lovely life.

This year not only means the usual stuff (attempts at shrinking my waist & fixing my hair) but also seeing more of the friends I've drifted away from and working out what to do with my life.

I'm also going to take a leaf out of Ugly Betty's book - "no romantic entanglements".
Let's see how long that lasts ;)

Stay Tuned.
